…becuase it’s all about the little things, really. When we look back, it is those little things that we treasure…how impossibly small our newborn looks tucked into our arms…that mischievous grin…those dimples…missing front teeth…infectious giggles…all of those simple moments that we wish, with all of our hearts, that we could somehow tuck away for safekeeping —THOSE are the moments I want to capture — THOSE are the little things I look for whenever I create an image! As a lifestyle photographer, my goal is to artistically capture the unique spirit of everyone that I have the honor of photographing – foregoing the formalities and letting people just be themselves. I think every photo session should be fun, casual, comfortable…so don’t be surprised if you find me standing on tables, laying on the floor, making silly faces, or even flapping my arms and quacking like a duck (and that’s before my first cup of coffee)
What is an Express Session?
Express Sessions are just that – quick THEMED sessions that we do every month (always on a Saturday).
They are a great way to to do something silly, get fresh photos, try us out, or simply visit us more often.

Celebrating Adoption is an organization of photographers dedicated to promoting adoption through beautiful imagery. If you are an adoptive family and have adopted your child within the last year, you qualify for a Celebrating Adoption session. As an adoptive family, you will receive a complimentary “parent & child” portrait session (session fee is waived) and a small proofbook of your session images. Siblings and relatives may be added to the session for a small fee. We offer Celebrating Adoption sessions on weekdays only and limit our CA sessions to two per month – contact us for availability and further details. I am honored to be a Celebrating Adoption Photographer.

How much does a session cost?
Studio (weekday) : $150
Weekend or Location : $200
Your session fee covers the time and talent of the photographer, custom retouching of every image presented, a custom ordering session, and the publication of an online image gallery to share with your family and friends. Prints are not included in the session fee.
What is a design consultation?
This is where it all begins! Before your session, we will have a design consultation where I can learn what it is YOU are wanting from your session. What is it your kids love, what are their personalities like, what is your house like, your style, where are you planning on hanging your wall portraits, what other products are you interested in. EVERYTHING. We’ll chat about clothing choices, style, backdrops – so that we are designing a session that fits your lifestyle and fits the products you are interested in! That way, at the session, we can just have fun and shoot!
What kind of investment do most families make?
Most of our clients invest anywhere from $750 to $1500. Remember : everyone’s needs are different – some spend a little more and some spend a little less. Our Designer Collections (where you create a collection of the products you truly want) start at $420.
When do I get to see my images?
Because we individually retouch every image we show you, it takes a little time. During your photo session we will schedule a time for you to come back to the studio and view your images approximately 2 weeks after your Session. Katie and I will walk you through the whole process, helping you to decide which images and products work best for you and your lifestyle.
